Started taking photographs 40odd years ago when my dad disposed of my uncles old Braun Paxette. The shutter had jammed so being an apprentice engineer I set about fixing it but couldn't get the shutter speed sorted. That was fixed by a local camera shop and that’s where my photographic journey began.
Worked my way through photographing mates at social events, walking holidays, motorcycling racing, travel, skiff racing. My main interest now is wildlife. My wife took me on Safari in 2002 and now I’m hooked.
Thames Traditional Boats is my other main interest.
I still have the Braun Paxette and it still works but I use Nikon gear now.
